Writing
Below are some of my favorite writing samples that I have completed during the past four years. Every picture under the description is linked to the PDF version of the paper.
College Essay - My Love For Film
When applying to many film schools, I felt it would be fitting to talk about my love of film, and why I want to go into that area of work so badly. Aside from this being an essay for college, I appreciate having this essay as a writing sample, and I am truly proud of this piece of writing. Completed October 2025.
Experimental Horror Short Film Script - Material Killer
Around Halloween last year I was interested in making a horror short film, involving more pre-production than I have done in most personal projects. Although this film was never made because of time conflicts, I like this script because I can visualize how it would be made very easily. I hope to make it one day, and take more screenwriting classes in the future so I can improve and develop my ideas.
Literary Analysis - Love Always, Charlie
This was my final assignment for my College Credit Plus (CCP) class, College Composition. We had to choose a book to write a literary analysis on. I chose The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, because I enjoyed the book and film adaptation. If you have watched the movie version, you will notice featured quotes and more. I earned a 100% on this assignment, and ended the year with an A. Completed April 2025.
OU Short Film Script - The Leading Man
In June of 2025 I attended Ohio University's Summer Film Lab program, where I made a short film, and helped the other students make their short films. This was my script for The Leading Man, which you can find on the projects page. With this script I wanted to capture the isolation celebrities can face, as well as longings for normal relationships without fame.
